Tour de France? Old hat! There’s a new route on the block – the TOUR de MANCHE (Manche = English Channel, in case you forgot). It will be launched in May.

We at Cycle Guides have been commissioned to write the official guide to this great itinerary. Apart from detailed mapping and route description, we’ll be singling out the very best hostelries on a superb route through some of the best bits of Dorset, Normandy and Brittany.

The Tour de Manche (TDM for short) links Weymouth with Poole with Cherbourg with St-Malo on a 250 mile round trip that represents the ultimate (long) weekend challenge! Or the most leisurely of saddle holidays.

We’re also having a cycle challenge along the route in early summer. Come and join our 250 mile 4-day trip from shore to ship to shore. Details to follow shortly.
